Free Health Screening Program Targets Amanfrom Zongo Children and Women.

In a commendable effort to address healthcare disparities and uplift the marginalized in the society, the Rastafari Council of Ghana Women’s Commission, the Women’s arm of the Rastafari Council of Ghana joined hands with two notable humanitarian organizations namely Connect the Youth Foundation and 99 Wings of Hope to bring to the children and mothers of Amanfrom Zongo, an activity dubbed “Healthy Community Drive”.

Recognizing the urgency of addressing the limited access to essential healthcare services of members of this community, the Women’s Commission saw the need to live the Rastafari Creed of caring for the sick and infants, as the best way to celebrate the 131st Earthstrong of His Imperial Majesty the King of Kings of Ethiopia, Conquering Lion of the Tribe of Judah, Elect of God, Emperor Ras Tafari Makonnen Woldemikael Haile Selassie I. Hence, on the 22nd of July 2023, Officials from the National Health Insurance.
