The Blues need to close a deal before the close of the Premier League transfer window

Chelsea are preparing to meet the Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Jan Oblak’s €100 million (£89m/$116m) release clause, according to Mundo Deportivo.

The Blues have been looking for a replacement for Thibaut Courtois, who has been vocal about desiring a chance to play closer to his family, who live in Madrid.

Chelsea have targeted Alisson, Pepe Reina and Jordan Pickford at various points, but with those options off the table, they are prepared to pay for Oblak.
