Video of Medikal in Handcuffs pops up.

A video of rapper Medikal being rushed by the Ghana police to an Accra court has surfaced on social media.

Medikal, born Samuel Adu Frimpong, was arrested yesterday Thursday, October 21st after he was seen in a video on social media brandishing a gun.

His wife, Fella Makafui, was seen at the Accra Regional Police Command charge office with their family’s personal lawyer few hours after news of the arrest went viral.

Reports which surfaced was that they were seeking for bail for the ‘La Hustle’ rapper but was denied.

Earlier today, Medikal was spotted in cuffs and being rushed by armed police men to the court for his verdict.

It is unclear what his charges really are or what the final verdict will be but we have reporters at the court yard following the news keenly for more updates.

Medikal’s arrests comes barely a day after his Godfather Shatta Wale was arrested by the police and remanded for a week in prison by the court for faking a gun shot incident.

Medikal was part of the few who was campaigning for the release of Shatta Wale but the rapper now needs a campaign of his own.

Meanwhile some Ghanaians, including a Cyber Security Consultant and a communication team member of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Mr. Yayra Koku is calling for the arrest of actress Afia Schwar for also brandishing a gun and threatening to kill anyone who crosses her lane.
